Wow! Been Awhile!

Well so far things are trying to settle down. Donny is traning at Macco in Salem to get certified to be a body estmator and he is liking it for the most part. He is staying busy which is awesome and he finally has something to do with his time. I am just trying to juggle things and keep my head up. Going to Weight Watchers still and that is going to be a long road but it is something I need to do for me and for my health before I end up being so "BIG" that I wind up in a wheel chair. Having some heath issues but for the most part I keep chugging along. Vincent is growing like a weed still and is liking his last year at Grandhaven Elementary. Can't beleve that he is going to middle school next year. (Guess I am getting older) and Trinity is just finishing out being 2 and getting into trouble. Other than that just plain old boring over here in our neck of the woods. Well for now...

No News ... Isn't Really Good News....

Well today is the day for Donny to go into see some one for a job. I think it is a bogus waste of his time, theirs and gas but we will see. He is going to have to travel to Portland for a job interview and see if there is a possibility they are going to hire him. I find that highly unlikely since he is on so many restrictions and that all he can pretty much do is sweep. He has been talking a lot about his index finger and pinkie finger being numb now all the time and is really kicking around the idea of surgery for his injury. I don't know if that is good or bad but I just let him know as long as long as it take him to heal, I will be there for him supporting him and taking care of him. Who knows what is going to happen, as for me I am just taking it one day at a time, but it is hard for me since I am not a patient person at all. I would like answers now not later down the road so I know how to mentally prepare myself for what lies ahead, but all I can do is give it over to God and pray about this situation. Vincent is doing well at school so far and I meet with the teacher today for about 15 minutes for a parent teacher conference. I hope an pray all goes well and I have to do this by myself since Donny will be in Portland dealing with the interview... Trinity has a Doernbecher appointment tomorrow and that is going to be filled with lab draws yet again! *Sigh* When is this child going to get a break. Well that is it for now. Blog ya soon!

School Starting Tomorrow!!

Oh my goodness.. is it that time already!! CRUD! Well my son is offically starting his last year of grade school this year! 5th Grade can you believe it! Time does fly and I am blown away by it. Well as of today about 30 minutes ago we finished getting the last of the supplies on the list and let me tell you Mcminnville was crazy today. I think everyone was doing the same our family was. Well other than that everything is fine. Donny has a interview in Salem for working a Parts Counter and he is still trying to figure out what is going to. For me I am just taking it a day at a time. Trinity is being 2 as usuall, getting into things and helping color the cabinets in the bathroom today, they are very pretty, blue, pink, green, purple.

New Updates On The Family

Well all I decided to update this one as well since I was on Trinity's blog. Well starting off with Donny he did finally recieve a phone call from Rehab person saying that someone might be intrested in him for a full time job making really good money since the one of the people are retiring in a year so that will give him plenty of time to go to school, brush up on a few things and then go in for an interview possibly. So that is some good news. We are just playing the wait game for now. As for me I am just trying to keep my house clean and running after a toddler that won't stay still for 5 seconds. I am thinking about going to finish my GED this fall if finances are available for me to do so, and if Trinity stays out of the hospital. Vincent is starting school on the 7th of September (I can't wait!!) and got all the paperwork done for him today since they had a boundary change late last year. Trinity is being silly and being a regular toddler, gettting into her brothers room and tossing stuff around. Just recently she really loves to draw and decided to help Mommy decorate her wall with a pretty "washable" purple marker!! Oh it is beautiful let me tell you. So off I have to go with the bleach sometime today to clean my walls. Other than that nothing much going on here. Well ta ta for now!

Oh My! Time To Update This ...

Has been a long long time since I have written on this and so I am taking sometime to update everyone on what has been going on with our family. First with Donny he has finally been treated and gone through numerous shots of Cortozol and has been deemed "Medically Stationary" from his ruptured disk and is on limitations as to what he can do. He has been working with a SAIF Vocational Rehab person for them to retrain him so he can get a well paying job so we can get back on our feet. They offered to let him go to school pay for mileage, clothing, school books and possibly rent if he has to take courses in Medford. If he chooses to go down for a special school. He wants to take that route and go through that soon. Other than that who knows what else is coming our way. Vincent is looking to start school soon and get his supplies ect and I can not believe that he is starting the 5th grade.. *sigh* Time fly's by doesn't it! Trinity on the other hand has been having it rough for the past few weeks. She is trying to potty train and then she came down with some viral or staph infection (as of this time we do not know what it is) and I left at 8pm with her yesterday to Doernbechers (after I had called her PCP) and she had a 104.1 temp and bumps all over her hands face and legs. Her torso down to her bum looked like a sunburn and they still can't pinpoint it as to what it is so it was lab draws that morning ect and it is a defenate over the weekend stay minimum to find out what caused this. They are saying Chicken Pox or staph infection but still are not 100% sure. She is a warrior though getting poked 6x with in 24 hrs. Hanging in there though. As for me.. Started Weight Watchers in June and am doing so/so with it. Lost about 5.8 lbs in 6 weeks but I haven't been so called "religious" with it yet since money funds are very low and stressed out ect but it's coming off slowly but surely. Other than that just waiting on what the Good Lords plan is for us and doing a lot of praying and waiting. Well all hopefully I can start updating this daily if not at least weekly! Here Comes Santa Clause ... Right Down Santa Clause Lane..

Hi. Everything is going well here. Trinity is being a little more spoiled everyday, since Christmas is comming up. She is excited and tried already yesterday to help unwrap presents, and Vincent caught her and she started to cry. Tried to tell her that we get those when Christmas comes but she is still to little to understand that concept yet. She does pretty well with her brother, playing and annoying him especially with getting into his room and trying to play with his Hot Wheel cars. They do at night have about 1 hr to horse play and she giggles and laughs when he makes faces and hollers around here. Well I am going to post some Christmas photos on the here if you want to take a look. Just finally got the outside decorations done today. Donny is going to Physical Therapy every other day and I don't really know if it seems to be working or not. He is still pretty sore when they try and tweak his neck. Me I am just bouncing around from home to Dr's apointments and going and visiting at the Gastation, just trying to stay sane!!! Well Have A Good Chirstmas and A Happy New Year!

Hello there. Just wanted to update on this blog that I keep forgetting to do. Hm things that are going on lately. Donny is still hanging in there with injury to knee and neck. He is going to start physical therapy here in our home town next Monday. Still no word on the Army and what they are going to do with him. (He is ornery as heck still) Vincent is doing so so in school just lots of kids are very rude and get on his nerves and I am really debating next year just to home school him or put him in a private school next year.(Lately he is trying to be sly and ask for a early Christmas present.. UM NO NOT HAPPENING! Good try though!!)Trinity is very very independent now. She wants to wash her own hair most of the time and does not want us to give her medicine to her she wants to do it her self. Also she wants to help make the kitty water a nice nasty brown color by mixing cat food in it. (joy huh!) She is very spoiled and wants Daddy all the time. As of me I am trying to keep it together..been kinda down lately and stuff has gotten out of hand at the house.I am having company next Wed since Donny's Mother and Father do not get the weekends or the Holidays off so that should be fun to have them all together. Other that that nothing else to report.. but Trinity had her 1st year after her liver Transplant on the 17Th. Time does fly.

Nothing Much...

Hi. There is nothing going on over here as of lately. Just wanted to toss up some new pictures of Trinity and let everyone know that things are going as smoothly as they can. She is learning new words daily and is now getting REALLY independent and won;t take no for an answer. Like just this evening when I was cleaning out the cupboards, she decided that she was going to play splash in the cat water dish! Ya that didn;t go over very well!! Hello. Here are some pictures that were taken yesterday from the Yearly Larson Reunion.

Updates for my family are Donny is still in the National Guard for the time being so that is awesome to hear. We are still awaiting the knee surgery for that one. We did go to St. Vincent Hospital on the 12Th of this month for another MRI and we are waiting results for that, and won't know anything until the 1st of this coming month. Vincent started 4Th grade and is liking his new teacher this year and is doing well in school. Trinity has been running a low grade fever for the past 3 days but she is still doing OK. We have her pentamidine infusion this coming Thursday at Doernbecher's. Me I am just keeping up with the housework and staying busy with school and massive Dr's appointments between family members. Other than that things are going as well as they can. Till Next Time.

More Depressing News.....

Well I guess I will start off with Hi, and then get into the mud. So far we have no idea what the Dr at St Vincent are going to do about Donny's neck. Still bothering him all the time. He has an appointment on September 3rd with the neck Dr up there. For his National Guard, they are going to release him which chaps my hide but what can you do. We are going to have to figure something else out. For Vincent he is not looking forward to school starting which I don't blame him since he has trouble fitting in. We barely got to stay in his school and they did not tell me that I needed to fill out paper work since we are passed the school boundaries. For Trinity she had to have her labs done this Monday since her Prograf levels were too high, they still have not contacted me to let me know what to do. I am also fuming since my regular Doc did not call to let me know that she was going to be a way for 4 weeks on vacation, now they are trying to change things.... For me I am trying to stay as calm as I can. *Sigh* OK anyways that is it for the complaining now... dare I say the words...nope. God please bless me and my mess.

Oops Forgot To Post In Awhile!

Things are going pretty smooth with Trinity. Today she was at Doernbecher's again for her Pentamidine infusion and that went ok. She only got poked once, but the day started out her getting undressed for the weight check and then proceeding to potty all over the floor. She then got half way through her Infusion until she got sick all over the bed. Other than those minor things it went ok. She popped her molar right tooth in before her eye teeth which to me is odd, but it happened. No way am I sticking my fingers in her mouth (unless it is an emergency, and yes I have been bitten by her and it doesn't feel great!) She still is a stable 20lbs but finally got into 12 month clothes just a month ago. She is a great eater though, loves eggs and waffles and also ice cream. I have pictures that I will post up here in a bit, I think everyone that sees will get a kick out of it, and also her talking on my old cell phone. Well that's all I have for now. So Far... Doing Ok

Hi again. Well isn't the weather nice but way too hot! I hope everyone has their A/c's going in their houses or vehicles. We went to buy one but it was 1 inch to big for any of the windows so we are out of luck and using fans at the moment. Well Trinity's Doernbecher appointment went well. Got in and out pretty fast, was just the hot drive home was not fun. Donny on the other hand is still in a pretty good amount of pain and the pills he is taking are not working worth a darn, so we have no idea what is going to go on with him. Today we heard from his Brother that is in AIT traning for the National Guard. He graduated July the 3rd from Basic Traning at Fort Jackson ,Sc then went to Fort Sill in Oklahoma. He gets to come home August 18and he can't wait to come home since we are redoing his Toyota truck. Other than that nothing much going on. Vincent wants to go back swimming in the pool and go fishing with his Grandpa this summer, so we will see how that goes. Well that is all I have. Stay Cool Everyone! God Bless
